Moving to Hampton Roads!

Some of you may have read or heard the news. Most of you probably haven’t. I don’t talk too much about what’s going on personally, but this probably (and by probably, I mean definitely) needs to be spoken about now.

I’m moving over to the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. On July 25, 2012.

What does this mean for you? Well, that’s a good question. First of all, it means that anyone who has already booked a session — wedding, family, or otherwise — will still be taken care of. That won’t change, and you have no reason to worry or look for another photographer. You’ll get 100% of my attention just as you would if I weren’t moving away.

As for Brown Photography, I’m still hoping to keep my business, but I’m also scoping out my options over on the coast. Some of you may or may not realize that I’m a graphic designer as well as a photographer. There are a lot of options for designers in Hampton Roads, so I’m looking into a few full-time jobs as either a photographer or designer. Needless to say, things are definitely up in the air. There are a lot of variables to this equation, and I simply don’t have all the answers.

I’m very sad to be leaving Lexington. You all have been wonderful to me, personally and professionally, and I’ll miss this place and you all dearly. Lexington will always hold a very special place in my heart.

All that being said, I am still booking photo shoots between now and July 25 here in Lexington!! I want to stay busy this summer with as many shoots as I can, especially family shoots! So contact me to book your shoot today! I only have 6 available weekends before I leave Lexington!
